Access and deployment
Engineering routes require HTTP Basic authentication. Use the username engineering. Set ENGINEERING_DOCS_PASSWORD in the server environment, or supply the local password file .local/engineering-docs-password. Missing credentials disable access; they never make the area public.
Keep the password file out of Git. Use HTTPS before exposing this server beyond localhost: HTTP Basic credentials require transport encryption. The password gate protects web routes, not copies already present in a Git repository or previously downloaded research artifacts.
Earlier work
The remaining navigation entries preserve earlier product and implementation explorations. They are historical context and may describe functionality that differs from today's Grid Studio.
